Earlier (on September 16), AVP reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense had officially confirmed that on September 11, an attack was carried out against Dolgintsevo airfield, located in the Krivoy Rog region. The attack resulted in the destruction of five Ukrainian Armed Forces aircraft, including two MiG-29 fighter jets and three Su-25 attack aircraft.

Dolgintsevo Airport is considered one of the most important air bases in Ukraine, where fighter jets regularly take off for missions. The destruction of five combat vehicles in an attack is a heavy blow to the air force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this region.

Experts note that the simultaneous loss of five fighter jets could severely weaken Ukraine's air force capabilities in and around the Krivoy Rog region. This incident also clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of Russian military operations.

According to official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, so far, 472 aircraft, 249 helicopters, and 6,810 drones belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.
