Quang Ninh : Crowds of people flock to the 30/10 Square on October 30th.

On the eve of the Lunar New Year, a large crowd flocked to the 30/10 Square in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh province) to participate in the Spring Festival art program and watch the fireworks display at midnight. Traffic police blocked both ends of Tran Quoc Street, preventing cars and motorbikes from passing through, allowing only pedestrians to enter the central area. Despite the rather cold weather, the number of people celebrating the New Year continued to increase. Cafes around the 30/10 Square were packed with customers. On the night of the 30th of Tet (Lunar New Year's Eve), Da Nang City experienced a chilly weather. Many locals and tourists took advantage of the opportunity to dress up in their finest clothes and take photos, awaiting the moment of midnight. According to our reporter's observations, traffic began to pick up on central streets in Da Nang such as Hung Vuong, Nguyen Van Linh, Le Duan, Tran Phu, Bach Dang, and Nguyen Van Linh. In the flower-lined areas on the east and west banks of the Dragon Bridge, a large crowd gathered in the park to capture the moment of transition from the old year to the new.

Meanwhile, at the Tet flower market area (around Tien Son Sports Complex, Hai Chau district), more than 100 sanitation workers are urgently cleaning and sanitizing the area to restore a clean and spacious environment. For Tet Giap Thin 2024, Da Nang will organize fireworks displays at three locations. Border guards patrol on New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve at the Lao Bao International Border Guard Post (Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province), the temperature dropped to 15 degrees Celsius. At the border between Laos and Vietnam, officers and soldiers from both sides greeted each other, shaking hands to celebrate the arrival of the new year. The Lao Bao International Border Guard Post controls and manages nearly 16km (12km on the river, over 3km on land) of the border. Today's patrol route was along the Se Pon River and a section of road.
