Alcohol test, nearly 2,000 drug pills discovered

On February 29, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Binh Province announced that it had drawn up a record of the arrest of the offender red-handed, seized related evidence, and issued a decision to temporarily detain Tran Van Loi (34 years old, residing in Quang Thuan Ward, Ba Don Town, Quang Binh) to continue investigating and clarifying the drug case.

On the evening of February 26, Working Group No. 2 of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with forces of Quang Binh Provincial Police including the Traffic Police Department, Criminal Police Department, Drug Crime Prevention Police Department, Mobile Police Department and Dong Hoi City Police to inspect and handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations on Ly Thanh Tong Street (Loc Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi City).

Evidence of the case

Here, the authorities stopped a motorbike with license plate 73K1 - 210.67 driven by a young man for inspection. During the inspection, the young man drove away but was chased and arrested by the task force.

During the subsequent struggle, the suspect admitted his name was Tran Van Loi. Continuing to check, the police discovered two plastic bags containing a total of 1,980 round tablets of modern medicine in Tran Van Loi's shirt pocket. The suspect admitted that these tablets were synthetic drugs of the pink type.
