Swimmer Anh Vien wrote a touching letter congratulating her younger brother on winning the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the evening of December 12th, after witnessing her younger brother Nguyen Quang Thuan win the gold medal in the 400m individual medley at the 33rd SEA Games, legendary swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien wrote a touching letter to her brother.

At the SEA Games 33 swimming competition, swimmer Nguyen Quang Thuan had a brilliant day of competition on the evening of December 12th. He finished the 400m individual medley with a time of 4 minutes 19.98 seconds.

Quang Thuấn's performance demonstrated absolute superiority, leaving his senior, Hưng Nguyên, more than 5 seconds behind. Even more remarkably, this time of 4 minutes 19.98 seconds not only met regional standards but also achieved continental benchmarks.

For comparison, this achievement is even better than that of swimmer Wang Shun (China) - who won the bronze medal in the 400m individual medley at the Asian Games with a time of 4 minutes 20.68 seconds.

Notably, the bronze medal at the Asian Games is also the highest achievement in the illustrious career of Vietnamese swimming legend Nguyen Thi Anh Vien.

Of course, achieving continental-level performance and truly shining on the continental stage are two different things. But Quang Thuan has shown that he has more than enough potential to follow in the footsteps of his sister Anh Vien.

Witnessing her younger brother's brilliant and convincing success, legendary swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien couldn't hide her pride and wrote a touching letter on social media to her brother:
