Timely support for STEM study loans

(CT) - Implementing Decision No. 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 of the Prime Minister on credit for students, master's students, and biological researchers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), the Cai Rang Bank for Social Policies (BSP) Transaction Office is the first unit under the City Branch of the BSP to disburse loans to 3 students at Can Tho University, FPT University, and Can Tho College of Economics and Technology studying STEM, the amount of 180 million VND (average 60 million VND/student).

According to the Can Tho City Social Policy Bank Branch, through the review results from the affiliated Social Policy Bank transaction offices, from now until the end of 2025, the Branch plans to disburse loans to about 107 students, master's students, and biology researchers in STEM, with an amount of nearly 8 billion VND. Thereby, supporting students to cover tuition, living expenses and other study costs... STEM students who need to borrow capital should contact the City Social Policy Bank Branch, Social Policy Bank transaction office, People's Committee of the commune, ward, savings and loan group, and residential group where they legally reside...
