At its 17th session, the Provincial People's Council discussed socio-economic development tasks.

According to the agenda, this afternoon (December 6th), the 17th session of the 18th term of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council will take place with a report responding to opinions and recommendations from voters, and discussions in the assembly hall on the contents of the session.

Hoang Trung Dung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, Tran Tu Anh and Tran Van Ky, presided over the session.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau reported on the responses to the opinions and suggestions of voters.

Opening the afternoon session, the meeting began with a report by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau responding to opinions and recommendations submitted by voters to the 17th Session.

Accordingly, the report addresses the opinions and suggestions of voters related to the fields of economics , agriculture, rural and urban areas; resources and environment; investment, transportation, construction and programs and projects; and culture and social affairs.

Among the issues of concern to many voters were policies on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; forest planning; criteria for establishing new businesses; a comprehensive assessment and review of the planning for three types of forests (special-use forests, protection forests, and production forests); and adjustments to the land use plan for the period 2021-2030...

Issues such as teacher shortages for natural science subjects; local education, creative experiential activities; shortages of psychological counseling support staff and school health personnel; and the progress of housing construction projects funded by the Ministry of Public Security ... were also addressed by the provincial People's Committee leaders at the meeting.
