Agreeing with the Prime Minister's point of view, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung commented: Entrepreneurs are the core force creating wealth and material goods; making important contributions to economic growth; creating jobs, increasing income for workers, contributing to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and social stability. Vietnam currently has more than 930 thousand operating enterprises, about 14.4 thousand cooperatives and more than 5 million business households, contributing about 60% of GDP, 85% of total labor force, 98% of total import-export turnover.

Responding to VTC News , Dr. Le Duy Binh, CEO of Economica Vietnam, highly appreciated the role of businesses and entrepreneurs in the era of national development. “The past 3 decades of innovation have shown the very clear role of businesses and entrepreneurs, through statistics. This is a very important production force in our economy, at the same time contributing to ensuring the livelihood of a very large part of the population. In the new era, this role will certainly continue to be promoted, even promoted more strongly because this force is growing stronger and stronger,” said Mr. Binh. However, Mr. Huan also highlighted the current situation that the non-state economic sector contributes more than 60% of GDP, but small and medium enterprises only contribute more than 10% of GDP, meaning that there is still a lot of room and needs to be promoted for this force to develop in the new era.

In particular, Vietnamese enterprises and businessmen are increasingly not afraid to compete in the region and the world, which is extremely important in the era of national development. Vietnamese enterprises are increasingly affirming their position, role and importance in the cause of innovation and development of the country, especially in the process of economic transformation.
