The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association, a large number of Vietnamese women and female students living, studying, and working in Belarus, and all the staff of the Embassy.
In his opening remarks, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Belarus, Nguyen Van Trung, conveyed the warm greetings and congratulations of the Party and State leaders to the Vietnamese Association and the Women's Association of the community.
We acknowledge and commend the many practical and meaningful activities of the Vietnamese Association, primarily composed of women, in maintaining and promoting the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion, and in inheriting and preserving national traditions and cultural identity.
The Ambassador expressed special gratitude to the community for their contributions to the fundraising campaign to support those affected by the floods and storms in the country, demonstrating the precious sense of solidarity of our nation.
On behalf of the community, the Chairman of the Vietnamese Association, Truong Cong Dao, expressed gratitude to the leaders of the Party, the State, and the Vietnamese Embassy for their continuous attention, support, and care for the community's life and activities, truly making it a home of national unity in Belarus.
The Vietnamese Association expressed its wish for the Embassy to continue supporting the Association in organizing activities to foster community interaction and cohesion, thereby creating meaningful platforms to promote solidarity and mutual assistance, always looking towards the homeland and nurturing friendship and solidarity between the people of the two countries.
The community women's association, with its dance troupe and Vietnamese language class as its core, brought spectacular artistic performances to the ceremony. The graceful traditional ao dai dresses, radiant smiles, sweet singing voices, and vibrant flowers vividly portrayed the joyful and cheerful atmosphere of women nationwide on Vietnamese Women's Day.
With a majority of members in the Vietnamese Association in Belarus, the Community Women's Association has carried out many meaningful activities, from unique cultural programs to Vietnamese language teaching and learning, charitable activities, and mutual support, making a significant contribution to the development of the Vietnamese community movement in Belarus, where life remains difficult due to sanctions and the impact of armed conflicts in neighboring countries.
The Women's Association has demonstrated the role, strength, and unwavering will of Vietnamese women, overcoming all difficulties and hardships to preserve their family homes, warm fraternal bonds, and the beautiful values of our nation in this distant Central and Eastern European country.
