Lam Dong: Organizing a program to link and promote investment, trade and tourism between Hanoi and Lam Dong

On December 20th, Ms. Vo Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Director of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Lam Dong province, announced that Lam Dong province and Hanoi will jointly organize the Hanoi - Lam Dong 2023 investment, trade, and tourism promotion program with the theme "Hanoi Day in Lam Dong".

Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, is the venue for the Hanoi - Lam Dong 2023 investment, trade, and tourism promotion program.

According to the plan, the program will be held over three days, from December 22nd to December 24th, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. Approximately 100 delegates are expected, including representatives from the People's Committees and relevant departments and agencies of Lam Dong and Hanoi . In addition, representatives from business and tourism associations of both localities will also participate.

Spanning approximately 1,200 square meters, the area is designed and decorated to showcase the distinctive features of Hanoi and Lam Dong, including: a main stage; an area for displaying and introducing specialty products, OCOP products, handicrafts, gifts, and culinary demonstrations.

The event includes a booth area showcasing regional specialty products (approximately 30 booths), a business networking and investment promotion area, an area promoting the cultural image of the people and tourist destinations, and other supporting activities and displays to ensure the program remains vibrant throughout the day and evening.

The purpose of organizing this program is to foster cooperation in tourism development between Hanoi and Lam Dong province, based on leveraging the strengths of each locality's cultural identity, landscape, and local products to create products that attract tourists.

Cooperation in building and developing tourism products, strengthening cooperation between tourism service businesses in the two localities, opens up opportunities for businesses to create competitiveness and strong regional linkages to develop tourism.

Strengthening cooperation and promoting investment, trade, and tourism between Hanoi and Lam Dong province, supporting businesses in both localities to connect, seek opportunities for cooperation and development, and establish two-way supply chains for goods.

Furthermore, in celebration of the 130th anniversary of the formation and development of Da Lat (1893-2023), this is an opportunity to promote the potential and advantages of Da Lat, attracting tourists, businesses, organizations, and individuals from within and outside the province to explore investment opportunities between Hanoi and Lam Dong province in general, and Da Lat in particular.

The main activities of the Hanoi - Lam Dong 2023 investment, trade, and tourism promotion program include: a seminar on investment, trade, and tourism promotion; organizing a space for investment promotion and networking; exhibiting and introducing trade, tourism, and agriculture; and organizing a survey trip to several tourism service businesses in Lam Dong province.
