First time organizing contest to discover Vietnamese language and national culture for students

The contest spreads and strengthens the love for Vietnamese, at a price close to the literary beauty of the country's students, the future generations.

The School of Foreign Languages ​​and Tourism (Hanoi University of Industry) has just successfully organized the contest "Discovering Vietnamese Language and Culture". This is also the first contest for students to learn about Vietnamese Language and Culture.

This year's competition has 6 teams participating. Of which 2 teams are from the Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture (Hanoi University of Industry) and 4 teams are from 2 major universities in Hanoi: Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi Pedagogical University.

The teams went through 5 special competitions: Greeting, Warm-up with Vietnamese, Accelerate with culture, Sublimate with art and Finish line.

The contest is a valuable opportunity for students to consolidate and improve their knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture.

Final results: The team of the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi National University of Education won first prize; the team of Linguistics K18 (Hanoi University of Industry) won second prize.

Third prize went to the Vietnamese Studies team, Hanoi National University of Education and the Vietnamese Studies - Vietnamese Language team (Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities).

The consolation prizes are the Linguistics team (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and the Linguistics team K19 (Hanoi University of Industry).

The contest aims to spread and resonate love for Vietnamese language and awareness of preserving national cultural identity to students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Lan Anh, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the contest will be held annually at the School of Foreign Languages ​​and Tourism, Hanoi University of Industry. The contest promises to have more and more participation from teams from universities nationwide, in order to spread and resonate the love of Vietnamese language, the awareness of preserving national cultural identity, the purity of the national language to students, the future generations of the country.
