Meetings, cooperation exchanges, souvenir tree planting, art exchange nights... are activities that will be held from July 16-26 in Hoi An city to celebrate the 10th anniversary of establishing friendly relations between Hoi An city (Vietnam) and Szentendre (Hungary).

The exchange activities aim to help the two cities look back on the past cooperation journey, aiming to foster and strengthen friendship in the spirit of innovation, creativity and integration. On this occasion, a delegation from the city of Szentendre led by Mr. Fülöp Zsolt Attila, Mayor of the city, paid a working visit to Hoi An.

In addition to the social activities and joint working programs, Hoi An city will also host activities such as: planting souvenir trees; an art exchange night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hoi An - Szentendre twinning relationship taking place at 7:00 p.m. on July 20 at the intersection of Nguyen Hoang - Nguyen Phuc Chu streets...
On this occasion, the two cities will discuss cooperation plans in the fields of culture - arts, heritage conservation and tourism development; introduce and create opportunities for cultural exchange and tourism attraction. Along with that, promote the participation of citizens of the two cities through delegations and people-to-people exchange delegations; create conditions for businesses and schools to exchange and cooperate. In particular, organize joint events between the two cities, from this year to 2029, each year organize at least one event to exchange and promote culture - tourism in the two localities...
