Also attending the welcoming ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh; Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs Nguyen Dac Vinh; Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh.

This is the second time that Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Kover Laszlo has officially visited Vietnam. Taking place in the year when Vietnam and Hungary celebrate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1950-2025) and only 5 months after the visit of Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas (May 2025), this visit of Speaker of the Parliament Kover Laszlo demonstrates Hungary's respect for the role, position and prestige of Vietnam in the region and internationally; at the same time, it demonstrates the desire and determination of both countries to promote the Vietnam - Hungary Comprehensive Partnership to become increasingly deeper and more effective.

The visit is expected to open a new chapter in parliamentary cooperation, contributing to making the Vietnam-Hungary Comprehensive Partnership deeper and more effective.

This is an opportunity for the two countries and the two National Assemblies to continue implementing the results achieved between the two countries' senior leaders, including further deepening trade and investment relations, cooperation in areas such as politics - diplomacy, security - defense, parliament, education, people-to-people exchange...; promoting cooperation in new areas such as renewable energy, labor, information technology and communications, digital transformation, green transformation... and cooperation at international forums.
