Immerse yourself in the traditional cultural space in the ATK Dinh Hoa Ethnic Cultural Colors Festival

On the evening of October 29, the People's Committee of Dinh Hoa district organized the ATK Dinh Hoa Ethnic Cultural Colors Festival in 2024. This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the Third Class Labor Medal Ceremony and announce the decision to recognize the district as meeting new rural standards in 2023.

In his opening speech, Mr. Pham Quang Sang - Vice Chairman of Dinh Hoa District People's Committee said that Dinh Hoa is a mountainous district of Thai Nguyen province, with 17 ethnic groups, of which ethnic minorities account for over 73% of the district's population. Ethnic groups live together, gather together, unite and help each other develop the economy and society, with different customs, habits and cultures, which are the important basis and foundation for Dinh Hoa district to focus on developing cultural tourism and community tourism.

Mr. Pham Quang Sang - Vice Chairman of Dinh Hoa District People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam - Head of Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen) presented flowers and flags to the clubs attending the ceremony.

In recent years, Dinh Hoa district has identified the preservation and promotion of cultural values as a key task. For many years, projects have been issued for implementation and achieved many important results; in the period of 2021 - 2025, Dinh Hoa district built the Project "Developing community tourism associated with preserving and promoting cultural values, traditional history of ethnic groups in Dinh Hoa district in the period of 2021 - 2025".

The performances carry the cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities.

At the same time, mobilize and integrate resources from national target programs for implementation, especially effectively deploying the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Dinh Hoa district with the content of implementing Project 6 "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development".

Currently, Dinh Hoa district has 26 cultural and artistic clubs.

Through the implementation of programs and projects on cultural preservation, it has contributed to raising awareness among the people, orienting the promotion of the role of people voluntarily preserving cultural heritage in the community, relying on cultural heritage to develop the economy through local tourism activities.
