On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024, the Secretary and Governor of Bolikhamsai Province, Kong Keo Xay Song Kham, sent his best wishes to the Party Committee, government, and people of Ha Tinh Province for a prosperous, happy, and successful new year. He also expressed his joy and enthusiasm over the achievements Ha Tinh Province has made in 2023 regarding economic growth, budget revenue, and investment attraction.
Leaders of Bolikhamsai province presented flowers to Ha Tinh province to wish them a happy Lunar New Year.
The Secretary and Governor of Bolikhamsai Province, Kong Keo Xay Song Kham, affirmed that this is one of the activities aimed at strengthening the special cooperative relationship between the two provinces, contributing to further consolidating the special friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The Secretary and Governor of Bolikhamsai Province, Kong Keo Xay Song Kham, also provided a brief overview of some of the province's socio-economic development achievements. According to him, in 2023, Bolikhamsai's economic growth reached 5%. The living standards of officials and citizens have improved significantly. The security and political situation remains stable. He also expressed his hope that in the future, the two provinces will continue to strengthen their comprehensive friendship and cooperation in all fields.
On behalf of the leaders of Ha Tinh province, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung expressed gratitude for the valuable sentiments of Bolikhamsai province towards Ha Tinh. He also informed the Bolikhamsai delegation about some of the province's outstanding achievements in recent times in the fields of education, investment, rural development, urban development, and its development orientations for 2024.
Affirming the special relationship between the two provinces, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung expressed his hope that in the future, Ha Tinh province and Bolikhamsai province will continue to have many exchange activities, cooperation, and mutual support in economic development and building an increasingly strong political system; ensuring that the long-term cooperative relationship between the two provinces and the two countries, Vietnam and Laos, remains ever vibrant and enduring.
Leaders of Ha Tinh province presented a symbolic check to support Bolikhamsai province in overcoming flood damage and to support the Bolikhamsai Charity Fund in its social assistance efforts.
At the event, Ha Tinh province presented a symbolic check for 1 billion VND to Bolikhamsai to help overcome the consequences of the floods and donated 200 million VND to the Bolikhamsai charity fund for social assistance.
