On August 28, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers , on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hanh (born in 1943), residing in Xom Chieu Ward (Ho Chi Minh City). She had two sons who were martyrs who died in the war to protect the border on international duty.

Lighting incense to pay tribute to the martyrs, comrade Nguyen Van Duoc kindly asked about the health and encouraged the spirit of mother Le Thi Hanh.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, comrade Nguyen Van Duoc expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of generations who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; wished mother Le Thi Hanh good health, a long and healthy life with her children and grandchildren; and always be a shining example for the younger generation to follow.
Next, the delegation visited the heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Huu Tai (born in 1940), residing in Khanh Hoi ward (HCMC). Her husband was a martyr who died in the resistance war against the US and her son was a martyr in the war to protect the border and perform international duties. Her mother was also a 4/4 class disabled soldier, who was imprisoned by the enemy during the resistance war.

In the warm atmosphere at mother Nguyen Thi Huu Tai's house, comrade Nguyen Van Duoc and the delegation burned incense to pay tribute to the martyrs and listened to his mother share about her years participating in the resistance war.
Presenting gifts to the mother , the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee respectfully thanked and wished mother Nguyen Thi Huu Tai good health, happiness, longevity, and continued to be a shining example for her children and grandchildren to follow.

On the same day, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by comrade Nguyen Loc Ha, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and outstanding revolutionary contributors in Binh Chanh and Tan Nhut communes (Ho Chi Minh City).

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers: Nguyen Thi Canh (born in 1932, Binh Chanh commune), Phan Thi Tam (born in 1934, Tan Nhut commune), Thieu Thi Xuyen (born in 1921, Tan Nhut commune).
Visiting the mothers, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese mothers. At the same time, he wished the mothers to always be healthy, clear-minded, and be a shining example for their children and the younger generation to follow.
