Leaders of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy send messages to new graduates about streamlining the apparatus

At the graduation ceremony, the Chairman of the Council of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, sent many messages to 1,225 new graduates, emphasizing that in the period when the country is growing, there are strong changes in arrangement and streamlining, students need to be more confident and proactive in approaching the new environment, with a new spirit.

On July 9th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a graduation ceremony for over 1,225 graduates, including bachelors, pharmacists, and doctors in various fields such as medicine, dentistry, preventive medicine and traditional medicine, pharmacy, nursing, midwifery, and medical laboratory technology, for the year 2025.

Speaking before the graduation ceremony, Associate Professor Hoang Bui Bao, Chairman of the University Council of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, said that this graduating class began during the years when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out globally and in Vietnam. Many students had to overcome many difficulties and hardships to keep up with their peers and attend classes regularly. Many students volunteered to participate in the school's Covid-19 prevention and control efforts, and the teachers always appreciate them for that.

Mr. Bao emphasized that during this time, the country is transforming to enter a new era, an era of national progress, undergoing significant changes, from the restructuring of ministries and departments, the merger of provinces, the abolition of district-level administrations, and the merger of communes. These changes will lead to major shifts in job positions, aiming for a more streamlined yet efficient system. Therefore, Mr. Bao hopes his students will be more confident, dynamic, and proactive in adapting to this new environment, with its new spirit and new role – the role of a healthcare professional .

"We hope that, with the up-to-date knowledge systematically acquired at the university level, you will be a force of potential professionals capable of solving practical problems in healthcare for the people in the future. We hope you will always live up to the diploma you receive today," Mr. Bao said.

Finally, Associate Professor Hoang Bui Bao expressed his hope that the new graduates would continuously cultivate and improve their medical ethics, remain humble, and always learn and update their professional knowledge to live up to the school's tradition and the trust of patients.
