Provincial People's Committee leaders visit and encourage units in the Finance sector on the last day of the year.

On the afternoon of December 29th, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Mr. Tran Song Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, encouraged, and congratulated several units in the Finance sector on their last working day of 2023. Leaders from the Provincial People's Committee Office also accompanied them.

* During a visit to the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc commended the efforts of the leadership, officials, and staff of the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, especially in the context of economic difficulties significantly impacting revenue collection. The Department has implemented decisive measures and solutions, successfully completing key programs and work plans for 2023. As of December 29th, the Department's revenue collection reached 106% of the assigned target, with Ninh Binh province alone achieving 103%.

Sharing in the difficulties and hardships faced by the industry, especially during the year-end period of hard work, the comrade expressed his hope that in 2024, the leadership, officials, and staff of the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department would continue to uphold the spirit of unity, innovation, discipline, and responsibility, creating the most favorable conditions for import and export activities of businesses based on the correct implementation of legal regulations, completing and exceeding all planned targets, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

* Visiting, encouraging, acknowledging, and appreciating the efforts and hard work of officials, civil servants, and employees of the Tax sector in 2023, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared his understanding of the difficulties and hardships faced by the sector, especially in the final days of the year, which require accuracy and high concentration.

The comrade emphasized that the tax sector has proactively developed scenarios and plans for reasonable and timely revenue collection. Currently, although the targets set by the province have not yet been met, the tax sector has always been determined and made the utmost effort in tax management, accurately forecasting the situation to advise the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee on proactive budget management plans. This ensures the fulfillment of regular expenditure tasks, provides sufficient capital for key programs and projects, and promotes socio-economic development.

Furthermore, the Tax Department has implemented decisive and comprehensive solutions in deploying electronic invoices generated from cash registers and recovering outstanding tax debts; it is a leading unit in implementing new tax policies and guidelines of the Government and the Ministry of Finance . This has gradually affirmed the position and role of the Tax Department in fulfilling its duties.

With the achievements made, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in 2024, the leadership, officials, and staff of the Tax Department will continue to promote the spirit of unity, innovation, discipline, and responsibility, creating favorable conditions for businesses while adhering to the regulations of the law, striving to complete and exceed all planned targets, and contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

* At the Department of Finance, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung shared his understanding of the difficulties the department faced in the past year in carrying out its duties under challenging economic conditions. However, the leadership, staff, and civil servants of the Department have always upheld a high sense of responsibility, proactively developing plans and scenarios from the beginning of the year, advising on flexible and effective budget revenue and expenditure management, and successfully completing the assigned political tasks.

Extending best wishes to all officials, leaders, civil servants, and employees of the Department of Finance on the occasion of the New Year 2024, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department to continue to build on its achievements, further excel in its assigned tasks, manage and operate the budget, increase revenue, save on expenditures; spend correctly, sufficiently, and promptly; ensure the completion and exceeding of budget revenue targets, creating important resources to help the province effectively implement socio-economic development tasks and ensure security and national defense in the area.

* During a visit to extend New Year greetings and encourage year-end settlement activities at the Provincial State Treasury, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung acknowledged and praised the efforts of the sector in managing and controlling capital sources, reforming administrative procedures, and meeting the province's new development requirements.

On the occasion of the New Year 2024, the comrade extended wishes for health and happiness to all officials and employees of the Provincial State Treasury, and expressed the hope that the unit would continue to enhance its sense of responsibility, effectively perform its advisory role to the province on the management, control, and administration of the budget fund, operate the Provincial State Treasury's online public service system efficiently, and closely coordinate with relevant agencies to successfully complete the province's budget revenue collection tasks in 2024.
