The 1st Buon Ma Thuot City Youth Gong Team Festival, 2023

On October 21, Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee organized the 1st City Youth Gong Team Festival, 2023 (Festival).

The festival attracted 14 teams, with more than 250 artisans and actors from villages and hamlets in Buon Ma Thuot City participating.

Ale A gong team (Ea Tam ward) performed at the Festival.

Taking place in one day, the teams brought to the Festival 60 attractive performances, imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic minorities; in the following genres: bronze gong and bamboo gong performances, folk songs, folk dances, performances of bamboo and reed musical instruments, improved musical instruments... with the support of gongs.

Muong gong team of Cao Thang village (Ea Kao commune) participated in the Festival.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded one First Prize, two Second Prizes and three Third Prizes to the groups with high achievements; along with two A prizes, four B prizes, six C prizes and six Encouragement prizes for the best performances. The gong team of Kmrong Prong A village (Ea Tu commune) excellently won the First Prize for the whole group.

The organizers awarded prizes to teams with outstanding achievements at the Festival.

The festival aims to promote the cultural and artistic movement at the grassroots level, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people, actively participating in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"; at the same time, encouraging the spirit of emulation in labor production, contributing to promoting the construction and development of Buon Ma Thuot city.
