Series of free 'national concerts' on National Day

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, tourists and people of Hanoi have the opportunity to enjoy many large-scale music nights and special cultural events for free.

This is a series of activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee and other units.

Youth music festival in Dong Anh

The highlight of the pre-holiday events is two big music nights at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh commune.

The music night "Vietnam in Me" takes place at 8pm on August 26, targeting young audiences. The stage promises to explode with popular names such as Soobin Hoang Son, Hoa Minzy, Erik, Duc Phuc, Quan AP, Duong Hoang Yen and the band Chillies. The program is an opportunity for the young generation to look back on the 80-year journey of national pride, thereby arousing love for their homeland and country.

Next is the comprehensive art program " Hanoi - Forever shining Vietnamese aspirations" at 8:00 p.m. on August 31. This is an elaborately staged performance, combining many types of music, dance, and animation with 3D mapping projection technology, modern sound and lighting. The program is broadcast live, and there is an open area for invited delegates and the public to enjoy on site.

Epic Art Night at My Dinh Stadium

One of the most anticipated events is the special art program on the evening of September 1 at My Dinh National Stadium.

With the main theme praising love for the Fatherland, the music night was divided into three chapters: The Road to Independence and Unification, Aspiration for the Fatherland and My Fatherland, Never So Beautiful.

The stage brings together famous artists from many generations, from veteran singers such as Thanh Lam, Dang Duong, Trong Tan, My Tam, Tung Duong to contemporary artists loved by young people such as Den, Lam Bao Ngoc, Anh Tu. The participation of bands OPlus, Ngu Cung, Dong Thoi Gian... promises to bring a colorful musical feast, both heroic and profound.

Hanoi is brilliant on the night of September 2nd

At 7:30 p.m. on National Day, September 2, music will be played in many public spaces throughout the city, creating a memorable festival night. Four programs will take place simultaneously in four wards, providing many options for residents and visitors.

In the center of the capital, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem Ward) will be the stage for the program "80 years - Pride of Vietnam". Part of a series of experiential events lasting from August 30, the music night brings together professional art troupes and hundreds of extras and students. The performance includes a series of song - dance - music, contemporary dance, and animation combined with documentary projections, modern lighting and sound technology.

Meanwhile, the windy space by West Lake will host the program "Immortal Epic" at the outdoor stage of Lac Long Quan flower garden (Tay Ho ward).

At the same time, the western part of the city was also bustling with the music night "Under the golden stars" at My Dinh Stadium (My Dinh ward) and the program "Forever the triumphant song" at Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong ward).

Note for residents and visitors

- Tickets: All programs are free. However, some large-scale events may issue invitation tickets to control the number of people. People should follow information from the official website or fanpage of the organizers and performance venues for updates on how to get tickets.

- Transportation: Event venues are expected to be very crowded. Audiences should prioritize using public transportation and technology motorbike taxis to avoid congestion and solve parking problems.

- Time: You should arrive 30-60 minutes before the show to get your seat and ensure security.
