Central working delegation surveyed the Que Lam circular model chain in Ha Tinh

On the afternoon of December 4, a delegation of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly, the Vietnam Association of Circular Agriculture , and representatives of a number of departments, branches and sectors inside and outside the province visited the value chain production linkage models of Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company in Ha Tinh.

The delegation directly surveyed and visited the black soldier fly farming model in Cam Binh commune.

The delegation directly surveyed and visited the black soldier fly farming model, the organic waste treatment model into fertilizer in Cam Binh commune; the organic cow farming model in Ky Anh commune; and the biosafety pig farming model in Thach Lac commune.

In particular, the black soldier fly farming model is a new model, helping to process organic waste, while creating a source of protein-rich larvae for poultry and aquaculture. The short life cycle, strong waste processing ability and environmental friendliness of black soldier flies are considered an effective solution in the development of circular agriculture.

At the destinations, the delegation highly appreciated the circular production process, ensuring biosafety, reducing emissions and increasing economic value for the people. Closed biosafety pig and cow farming from waste treatment, barn sanitation to the use of biological products and bedding helps limit disease and reduce environmental pollution.

Delegates also said that this is a suitable direction in sustainable agricultural development of Ha Tinh in particular and the whole country in general in the coming time.

In recent times, Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company has been considered a pioneer in developing organic agriculture in Ha Tinh. Currently, many production linkage models with the company have brought about remarkable results, contributing to promoting the restructuring of the green and circular agriculture sector.

The delegation hopes that the enterprise will continue to expand its scale, perfect its value chain and become a typical model of organic agriculture in the country.

The model of processing organic waste into fertilizer in Cam Binh commune has achieved initial results.

Up to now, Ha Tinh has had over 70 models of organic pig and cow farming; more than 450 hectares of rice, 1.2 hectares of melon, 4 hectares of orange, grapefruit and some other fruit trees are produced organically according to the company's standards.

The models associated with Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company are produced according to clean and safe processes, both reducing investment costs and increasing productivity and product quality; the enterprise provides seeds, organic fertilizers, care techniques and purchases all products.
