The theme of FWC 2023 is "Climate is Changing the Logistics Industry." According to Mr. Thanh, this theme is very meaningful and relevant to the current situation. The Vietnamese logistics industry is also orienting itself towards sustainable and green development in the face of this global change. "We hope that Vietnamese logistics businesses will have access to new trends and solutions to adapt to climate change and the current business environment. This is also an opportunity for businesses to network, connect, and cooperate in developing suitable areas," Mr. Dang Vu Thanh emphasized.

Speaking from Belgium, Mr. Dang Vu Thanh said that the event attracted many global logistics businesses and presented a great opportunity for Vietnamese logistics companies to network, learn from experience, and cooperate for development. In particular, the knowledge and experience regarding digitalization and greening of the logistics industry could be applied in Vietnam, helping Vietnam become a larger logistics hub and achieve sustainable development.

Affirming the promising development prospects of the logistics sector in Vietnam, Mr. Stéphane Graber, Director General of FIATA, stated that he had recently conducted a survey in Vietnam last July to prepare for the FWC 2025, which will be held in Hanoi in 2025. During this visit, FIATA President Ivan Petrov and Mr. Stéphane Graber also met and held discussions with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his desire for a closer and more effective relationship between Vietnam and the FIATA Federation.

At the same time, it was emphasized that Vietnam needs to cooperate with FIATA to receive advice on mechanisms for developing Vietnam's logistics sector to "catch up" and keep pace with global trends. Most importantly, this will help reduce costs, create lower product prices, and enhance competitiveness in the international arena. It will also assist Vietnam in training human resources, organizational management, and providing advice on technological development.
