Long Chau and Abbott Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming at the goal of "improving Vietnam's health care"

The event not only marks an important step forward in a sustainable relationship, but also affirms the commitment of the parties in providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare solutions for a healthier Vietnam.

The strategic signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Karim Elmashad - Vice President of Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Asia Pacific , Ms. Nguyen Anh Tuyen - General Director of Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen - Deputy General Director of FPT Retail and Executive Director of Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center and senior leaders of the units.

With the theme "Improving Vietnam's healthcare", at the event, representatives of Long Chau and Abbott officially announced the pillars of strategic cooperation, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable companionship for community health.

For over 30 years, Abbott has always been committed to accompanying the Vietnamese healthcare industry, constantly striving to improve the quality of healthcare for the people. Abbott representative, Mr. Karim Elmashad - Vice President of Pharmaceuticals in the Asia - Pacific region, said: " Abbott is proud to accompany the Government, healthcare experts and strategic partners to build a healthier future for Vietnam."

Through the strategic partnership, Abbott and Long Chau aim to improve the quality of healthcare in Vietnam by promoting telemedicine applications, sharing scientific information and training to enhance the professional capacity of healthcare staff. The collaborative initiative includes co-developing telemedicine consultation platforms, promoting the exchange of medical knowledge in the Asia-Pacific region, and expanding access to high-quality healthcare products and solutions, especially in key areas such as cardiovascular, women's health, diabetes management and influenza prevention.

The agreement "Improving Vietnam Healthcare" between the two units plays an important role in improving the quality of healthcare, meeting the diverse needs of Vietnamese people in the period of integration and digital transformation. Abbott also looks forward to the positive impacts that this cooperation will bring to the community across Vietnam and respectfully acknowledges Long Chau's great efforts in expanding access and improving the quality of healthcare for the people.

On October 30, 2025, Long Chau and Domesco signed a strategic cooperation agreement to deploy a series of specialized medical training for pharmacy staff, improve consulting capacity and clinical pharmacy practice. At the same time, the two sides will coordinate to optimize the supply chain, ensuring a stable and timely source of drugs and health care products.

The cooperation also includes public health communication, expanding the list of treatment drugs and functional foods, focusing on cardiovascular, pain relief, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory product groups. This connection contributes to helping patients adhere to effective and sustainable treatment.
