On the evening of October 31st, a large crowd flocked to entertainment venues in Hanoi such as Hang Ma Street and Ta Hien Street to enjoy the atmosphere of the special nighttime holiday – Halloween.
Many young people arrived very early, preparing scary costumes and spooky makeup to have fun and "scare" passersby.

According to observations by a Dan Tri reporter, at around 8 PM, a large number of locals and tourists flocked to Hang Ma Street to have fun, causing the entire street to be crowded with people and vehicles, resulting in localized traffic congestion.

Many young people dressed up as characters from horror movies, painted their faces, and wore "ghostly" costumes and masks to interact and take photos with tourists on Hang Ma Street.

Dang Hoang Anh (on the left) traveled over 20km from Hung Yen to Hang Ma Street in a costume that startled many people when they got close.
"Inspired by the character Axe Man from my favorite game, I decided to make this costume to join in the Halloween spirit this year," Hoang Anh shared.

The children were also dressed up by their parents, wearing masks as characters from movies, especially the Harry Potter series, to participate in the party.

The vibrant, Halloween-themed atmosphere makes Hang Ma Street a popular spot for people to come and have fun and take photos.

“The atmosphere on Hang Ma Street this year is much more lively and bustling than in previous years. I quickly chose a mask to enjoy the atmosphere,” shared Ms. Thanh Hang (standing in the middle) while strolling with some foreign friends.

The street attracts a large number of locals and foreign tourists who come to have fun.
“Tonight is wonderful, the atmosphere here is very lively and exciting. The decorations are incredibly beautiful, and the Vietnamese people are very friendly,” shared Emanuer (on the left, a Russian tourist).

As night falls, the number of people flocking to Hang Ma Street and the surrounding streets increases even more.

With a large number of visitors, mostly foreigners, Ta Hien Street (Hoan Kiem District) is also extremely bustling.
