Khanh Hoa Provincial Front receives 9.8 billion VND to support people in the North to overcome natural disasters

Ms. Tran Thu Mai, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, receives donations from businesses to support people in the northern provinces affected by Typhoon No. 3.

On the afternoon of September 13th, responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province launched a campaign to support people affected by Typhoon No. 3.

At the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thu Mai, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, called on all sectors of the population, officials, civil servants, employees, armed forces, religious organizations, philanthropists, agencies, units, organizations, and businesses throughout the province... to uphold the tradition of solidarity, mutual assistance, and helping those in need, and to join hands in sharing, responding to, and supporting the people of the northern provinces in overcoming the damage caused by typhoon No. 3.

The Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Tran Thu Mai, proposed that each official, civil servant, public employee, member of the armed forces, and those receiving salaries from the state budget in the province contribute at least one day's salary; all strata of the people, religious organizations, philanthropists, agencies, units, organizations, and businesses in the province should contribute on a voluntary basis.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, agencies, units, organizations, businesses, people from all walks of life, religious organizations, and philanthropists in Khanh Hoa province participated in direct support and pledged support with a total amount of 9.8 billion VND.

Earlier, on September 10th, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province promptly sent 10 billion VND to support the northern provinces affected by storms and floods.
