On January 5th, 2024, a ceremony to award ISO certifications took place at the headquarters of Meey Land Joint Stock Company (Meey Group). Representatives from the international certification organization, the British Standards Institute (BSI), presented Meey Group with two certifications: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

This is considered a particularly important milestone for Meey Group, a recognized achievement after more than a year of strategic cooperation with the British Standards Institute to standardize a comprehensive quality management and information security system.
The formal ceremony was attended by leaders from both organizations and invited guests, including: Mr. Hoang Mai Chung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meey Group; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam - Head of the Hanoi Office, BSI Vietnam; Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong - Deputy General Director of Corporate Restructuring Consulting Services, PwC Vietnam, along with senior managers and staff of Meey Group involved in the aforementioned project.
Meey Group Chairman Hoang Mai Chung delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Mai Chung - Chairman of Meey Group, said: “ With the support of BSI, Meey Group has established and implemented the project “Building and applying two standards: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013”.

According to BSI Vietnam's leadership, achieving two stringent international standards simultaneously will bring numerous benefits to Meey Group's product research and business development, helping to minimize and control risks, optimize costs, and build brand reputation with customers and partners, while also laying the foundation for Meey Group's sustainable development in the future.
In particular, with its experience as a leading agency and the first National Standards Authority in the world, having provided services to many large corporations and businesses such as Samsung, Foxconn, Deloitte, etc., BSI also affirms that these two standards will help Meey Group enhance its competitive advantage and international cooperation, aiming for the sustainable development of the business.
This will be the foundation that helps Meey Group move faster towards its growth goals, expand its scale, achieve revenue breakthroughs, and thereby increase its market capitalization.
More than a year after the ISO project was launched, Meey Group has successfully achieved two important ISO standards.
To achieve these results, the two businesses underwent a very serious collaborative process in three phases: Training and preparation; Implementation and certification assessment.
Based on knowledge gained from BSI Vietnam's training courses, Meey Group has independently developed and improved over 60 documents to support its operations; 21 employees have been certified as internal auditors by BSI; and all 25 centers/departments/divisions have implemented and complied with risk management and internal audit procedures.
In particular, like other businesses that meet international standards, Meey Group has passed rigorous and objective evaluation stages by leading experts from BSI. Furthermore, BSI will continue to conduct periodic annual assessments and monitoring at Meey Group to ensure the validity of the certification is maintained.
Also at the event, Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, a guest representative from PwC Vietnam, highly appreciated Meey Group's efforts in continuously improving its business management system to meet international standards.
Over the past three years, Meey Group has collaborated with PwC on numerous important projects, including reviewing strategic objectives and business models; advising on organizational structure and operational mechanisms; and providing resource management solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
With a development strategy focused on expanding regionally and globally, Meey Group will face many challenges and meet numerous international standards.
