This is the second consecutive year that a Vietnamese anti-malware product has been on the list, which is considered an important reference source for Windows users worldwide.

On December 2, Vietnamese start-up CyRadar was the only company in Southeast Asia named by Microsoft in the list of compatible security software providers for Windows users worldwide. CyRadar is a cybersecurity company invested and developed byFPT Corporation.

Microsoft updates the list annually and applies a particularly rigorous set of evaluation criteria. Vendors must demonstrate deep compatibility with the Windows operating system through comprehensive compliance with Microsoft standards. Vendors like CyRadar must also pass tests related to system performance and stability.

In addition, Microsoft only recognizes products that have received quality certification from independent international laboratories and maintains a very low false positive rate to ensure user experience.

The fact that CyRadar continues to be in the top 8 list shows that this product has passed a series of the most difficult technical criteria applied by Microsoft.

While Microsoft listed 15 vendors last year, in the latest assessment, only 8 companies continue to meet the requirements. CyRadar is the only representative of Southeast Asia in this group, alongside long-standing global brands such as Norton, McAfee or Avira.

CyRadar is positioned as a new generation cybersecurity solution provider, focusing on early detection and prevention of threats in the systems of enterprises and government agencies.

CyRadar's core technology allows for the detection of unusual signs right at the terminal, early warning of attack risks and protecting users from malware spread via the Internet, email or sophisticated online fraud techniques.

To date, CyRadar has detected more than 50 million unusual files and links and has been introduced in many major technology markets such as the UK, France, the US, South Korea and Japan.

To date, CyRadar is protecting more than 8,000 workstations at domestic agencies and enterprises. Many organizations deploy CyRadar on thousands of devices, such as some provincial units in Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc or the Medlatec healthcare system. These practical deployments show that the product operates stably in environments with high security requirements and large scale.

Affirming Vietnam's cybersecurity capacity

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - founder and CEO of CyRadar - said: "Microsoft's reduction of the list to only 8 suppliers is a testament to the trend of tightening evaluation standards globally.

In that context, the fact that a single enterprise in Southeast Asia maintains its position in this group not only affirms CyRadar's international competitiveness but also shows the potential for the rise of Vietnam's cybersecurity industry.

This is also a step forward to concretize the goal of cybersecurity autonomy, contributing to building a foundation to protect the safety of the national digital transformation process."
