Night market opens in An Thuong 'Western Quarter'

The program will take place over 3 days, from July 15th to 17th, on the streets in the An Thuong tourist area and surrounding areas, such as An Thuong 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, Hoang Ke Viem (section from Vo Nguyen Giap to Le Quang Dao), and Tran Bach Dang (section from Do Ba to Ngo Thi Si).

Specifically, the An Thuong night market is held on the sidewalk of Tran Bach Dang Street (the section from La Xuan Oai Street to Hoang Ke Viem Street), operating from 6 PM to 11 PM daily.

In the "Western Quarter" area, there will be a street dance performance for tourists at 8 PM on July 16th. Students from the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts will perform and parade from the main stage on Hoang Ke Viem - Tran Bach Dang street, moving around the An Thuong tourist area.

On the evening of July 17th, a street music performance was held here, organized by the Cultural, Sports and Information Center of Ngu Hanh Son District.

Along Hoang Ke Viem street, 20 booths were set up by businesses and organizations to display, introduce, and promote their products, and to support direct product sales connections with consumers and tourists.

The products showcased include OCOP products, distinctive products, typical rural industrial products, souvenirs, gifts for tourism, and specialty products of Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City, and other provinces and cities.

According to Mr. Ta Tu Binh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son District, the organization of the pedestrian street - cashless payment street and night market aims to mobilize social resources, develop cultural and artistic activities, create a cultural space complex, meet the needs of people for entertainment and experiences, attract tourists; and promote and sell products of Da Nang and other regions.

The An Thuong tourist area, also known as the "Western Quarter," is a popular destination for tourists, especially foreign visitors. Recently, the city of Da Nang and the Ngu Hanh Son district have upgraded the infrastructure of this area, making it a unique tourist destination and product in Da Nang's coastal region.
