On the afternoon of December 12th, the Vietnam U.23 team held a training session on the football field at RBAC University, where the entire team was divided into two groups: those who played a lot did light jogging for recovery, while those who played less focused on training.
Defender Nguyen Phi Hoang shared after his first start and victory against U.23 Malaysia: "The whole team is very happy to have won against U.23 Malaysia. Coach Kim hasn't shared much yet, only congratulated us on yesterday's victory."
Currently, the Vietnam U23 team hasn't studied their semi-final opponent. But we always stay focused, and every time we step onto the field, we try to execute the tactics that the coaching staff has given us."

The good news for the Vietnam U23 team is that the entire squad is in good physical condition and there are no injuries. Everyone is fully focused on the goal of defeating the Philippines U23 team in the semi-final match at 3:30 PM on December 15th.
Left-back Phi Hoang stated: "From today, the entire Vietnam U.23 team will train actively, and in daily life, we will try to communicate more with each other to prepare together for the upcoming semi-final match."
The U23 Philippines team is also strong. They beat Indonesia. But the most important thing for the U22 Vietnam team is to focus and fight their hardest in the match against the U23 Philippines. What the team needs to improve is their finishing ability."
