Ho Van Cuong will sing with singer Nhu Quynh for the first time in the "Lover and Homeland" live show in January 2025.
Singer Nhu Quynh has just announced her artistic projects for 2025, starting with the grand concert "Lover and Homeland". Among the guest performers, the participation of singer Ho Van Cuong has attracted much attention.
Như Quỳnh and Phi Nhung – Hồ Văn Cường's adoptive mother – were close colleagues. However, there was an unpleasant incident between Phi Nhung and Hồ Văn Cường before the singer passed away.

Speaking about the decision to invite Ho Van Cuong, Nhu Quynh said: "I hope young artists have the opportunity to freely pursue their profession, without being constrained or pressured. I also want young people to have space to develop and shine with their talents. As for other aspects of life, I think Ho Van Cuong will know what he wants, what he wants to do, and what he thinks."

As for Ho Van Cuong, the young singer was surprised because he never thought he would have the honor of collaborating with Nhu Quynh. He was happy and delighted that he could take this opportunity to learn a lot from the senior artists and improve himself.
"I'm ready to do things I've never done before with Ms. Nhu Quynh on this project. Whatever Ms. Nhu Quynh asks, I will fulfill," he said.
Nhu Quynh and the late artist Phi Nhung were close colleagues.
When asked about the late artist Phi Nhung, Nhu Quynh emotionally shared that she and Phi Nhung had known each other for quite a long time but rarely interacted or showed their affection on social media.
"We understand each other, support each other, and empathize with each other's difficulties on our career paths; we don't discuss personal lives or sensitive matters. That's why Nhu Quynh and Phi Nhung don't talk about each other's private lives, but in reality, we've confided in each other about many aspects of life, our concerns about work, and right now, I find myself missing my friend."
"I once wanted to collaborate with Phi Nhung on 'The Dream of the Stork's Wings 2,' but I didn't get the chance. I always want music to be gentle and sweet; please don't bring negativity into our relationship. When artists are pressured, it's very difficult for them to perform naturally. We just want to peacefully pursue our profession and live fully in the embrace of our audience," the female singer confided.
Besides Ho Van Cuong, the concert will also feature renowned singers Huong Lan, Hoa Mi, Truong Vu, Quang Le, Hien Thuc, Ha Thanh Xuan, Bui Anh Tuan... MC Trac Thuy Mieu and Cu Trong Xoay will host the event.

This is the third year that singer Nhu Quynh has organized an art program in Vietnam. The "Winter Lover" singer has invested a lot of heart and effort, along with her team, in selecting romantic songs that audiences rarely hear. She wants to avoid singing familiar songs again, fearing that it will fall into the same pattern as previous programs.
Beyond solo performances, the music festival also features special collaborations between guest artists through duets, trios, quartets, and choral performances meticulously prepared by singer Nhu Quynh. The guest artists will join Nhu Quynh in performing songs with completely new arrangements.
Như Quỳnh shared that she spent a year preparing for the grand concert, selecting suitable songs to create a harmonious overall performance. Composer Tùng Châu also spent six months arranging and orchestrating each performance.
Additionally, Nhu Quynh will release a new album titled "Loving You Leaves Me Nothing," featuring famous lyrical songs she has never performed before, as well as new compositions written specifically for her by various authors. The singer and her collaborators spent three years completing this album.
The "Lovers and Homeland" music night will take place on the evening of January 4, 2025, at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.
