Hearing the news, neighbors came to see it. I took a picture of my father holding this cassava root and posted it online, and everyone was amazed and left many happy comments."

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Viet newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Kien Quyet, Chairman of the Ky Phu Commune People's Committee, said: "The cassava root that Mr. Hai dug up is the largest one ever found in the locality. Cassava is not a main crop in our area. This plant is grown by some households like Mr. Hai's to feed bamboo rats."
