Currently, 3,200 households/11,996 people have been flooded and isolated. The floods have also partially flooded some roads, causing landslides and damage to some traffic points and infrastructure works.

In mountainous areas, heavy rains also caused landslides on many roads, causing traffic jams. Road DH 33 (along Dinh Binh Lake - to Vinh Son Commune) had landslides in about 9 locations, with an estimated volume of rock and soil of about 520 m3; of which, in the area K93 - K16 (about 1 km from the road to Tra Xom Hydropower Plant towards Vinh Thanh) caused large landslides, with the volume of rock and soil flowing down from the hills and mountains being about 3,676 m3 (13.5 m wide, about 1.2 m thick, 250 m long).

In Dak Po commune, there were 4 damaged roads including: Provincial road 667 - the section through Kruoi Chai village at the location of the drainage culvert across the road upstream, a large amount of fast-flowing water caused a deep landslide of the taluy roof and hollowed out the ground, creating a large negative gap spreading close to the edge of the road; Jun village road of the commune - the location of the drainage culvert in the foundation and road surface at the location of the culvert collapsed, completely washed away the soil, causing the road surface to break and create a deep hole; village road 7 of the commune - the section from Xa Woong stream to Mr. Le Ngoc Tinh's land, the drainage culvert across the road at this location broke and collapsed completely, the strong water flow washed away the entire ground, causing the road surface to be seriously damaged; Krong Hra village road of the commune - the section through Mr. Dinh Trung's field at the location of the drainage culvert across the road, the strong flow caused a serious landslide of the taluy roof, hollowed out the roadbed, creating a large negative gap spreading close to the edge of the road).

Faced with the situation of heavy rain and floods causing serious damage on a large scale and possibly leading to the risk of double damage, seriously affecting the lives and safety of people, the Provincial People's Committee has issued an urgent telegram to immediately "activate" the flood response scenario level 3.1 for all 58 communes and wards in the eastern region of the province, absolutely not allowing people to lack safe housing. Resolutely evacuate people completely (including forced evacuation) from low-lying areas, along rivers and streams and areas at high risk of landslides.
