Promoting Ninh Binh - a strategic destination for tourism and cinema

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung emphasized: Ninh Binh Province has been affirming its position as one of the outstanding destinations in Vietnam and the region, with a system of majestic landscapes, unique cultural relics and increasingly professional tourism services. Ninh Binh tourism is continuously honored by prestigious international organizations.

The conference is of great significance in concretizing the province's policy of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, associated with the development of cultural industry and international integration, and is also a foreign activity to strengthen cultural and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and India...

This is also a forum for exchanging policies, ideas, and international experiences in promoting destinations, directors, and film producers at home and abroad with Ninh Binh, while clarifying the province's potential and advantages in developing tourism associated with cinema and the high-end wedding market. This activity also contributes to enhancing the heritage value of Ninh Binh, enhancing the experience for tourists, and creating a driving force to promote local economic and cultural development.

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said that Vietnam possesses beautiful natural landscapes with forests, mountains, rivers, seas, plains... along with historical, cultural and human values. When the contexts in Vietnam are combined with the quintessence of world cinema, including the Indian cinema industry, it will be possible to create many films, not only contributing to cultural promotion but also promoting tourism development. In the near future, many film producers from the United States, India... will come to Vietnam, including Ninh Binh, to make attractive films, access potential international markets, and promote the number of international visitors to Vietnam.

Within the framework of the conference, there were also activities: The 4th Vietnam Namaste Festival; Grand Opening Program; Vietnam - India Art Program... Attending the workshop with the same theme "Ninh Binh - a strategic destination for tourism, cinema and high-end weddings", delegates focused on exchanging, discussing and analyzing the potential and advantages of Ninh Binh in tourism development associated with landscapes, heritage, culture and unique natural environment, fundamental factors to form cinema tourism products, wedding tourism and high-end tourism to connect between Indian and Vietnamese businesses; International and domestic experience in developing the "cinema tourism" model; Orientation to connect experiential tourism, creative cinema and high-end wedding industry combined with the introduction of high-end tourism products and services (resorts, wedding photography - filming, art events, eco-resorts, destination wedding organization services...).

At the conference, directors and film producers from India believed that with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and local partners, many Indian films could be produced in Vietnam, like the film "Love in Vietnam" which has achieved success recently. Filmmakers also appreciated the natural scenery in Ninh Binh, as well as affordable costs, local support... which will create favorable conditions for film projects here.
