One customer won over 228 billion VND by purchasing Vietlott tickets via text message.

The Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that in the Power 6/55 draw on August 6th, a Viettel customer won the Jackpot 1 prize. The prize money is 228,605,423,700 VND.

The winning numbers for the Jackpot 1 prize mentioned above are: 22-34-44-46-54-55.

According to regulations, before receiving the prize money, the lucky winner of this jackpot must pay personal income tax. Therefore, the amount received after tax deduction is approximately 205.8 billion VND.

Reportedly, this is one of the few lottery players to win a prize exceeding 200 billion VND.

Vietlott announced that, after 8 years of issuing Vietlott lottery tickets, the highest jackpot prize ever awarded was nearly 304 billion VND, given to Mr. Q. (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi ) in May 2018.

In addition to the Jackpot 1 prize of over 228.6 billion VND mentioned above, Vietlott's lottery system also determined 37 first-prize winners, each worth 40 million VND.

In addition, there were 1,513 second prizes, worth 500,000 VND each, and 35,064 third prizes, worth 50,000 VND each.
