My Tam returns to the hot seat, Vietnam Idol 2023 sets broadcast date

Before the official broadcast date, the Vietnam Idol 2023 organizing committee has just announced the judging panel. Among them, the name My Tam received a lot of attention with her return to the hot seat after 10 years.

After announcing the return information and organizing the audition rounds, Vietnam Idol 2023 has completed the task of finding promising faces to participate in this year's season.

In particular, the program has just officially announced the identity of the main judges: singer My Tam, musician Huy Tuan and director Nguyen Quang Dung. All three are names that have accompanied the competition in previous seasons of Vietnam Idol in many different roles.

My Tam is definitely the most surprising name when she accepted to become a judge on Vietnam Idol 2023. Because for quite a while, My Tam has hardly sat on the hot seat of any TV show. Instead, the female singer focuses on a series of her music projects.

Sharing the reason for agreeing to return to Vietnam Idol 2023, My Tam said: “I am very happy because it has been a long time since I returned to a program that has many memories for me. For a long time, I did not accept TV show offers to focus on my own projects. Currently, when all the projects are finished, I am also free, and I also thought I would accept an offer to do a reality show. At the same time, Vietnam Idol had an invitation. And I felt that the program made me remember the feelings of 10 years ago, so I accepted.”

11 years ago, in season 4 of Vietnam Idol (2012), My Tam accepted to be a judge for the first time. At that time, she sat in the hot seat with director Nguyen Quang Dung. Her favorite student, Ya Suy, was crowned the highest position. A year later, she continued to take on this position with director Nguyen Quang Dung and musician Anh Quan.

The return of My Tam to the hot seat of Vietnam Idol 2023 after being announced by the organizers has received a lot of anticipation from many fans. They expect that with her serious spirit, enthusiasm and humor, she will bring many valuable experiences as well as a joyful and energetic atmosphere to the contestants.

The audience also expects the third reunion of My Tam and director Nguyen Quang Dung - a judge who has been very familiar with the competition since 2010 - to create many exciting juggling acts.
