Tran Minh Thien, a fourth-year student at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, is an excellent student with an academic score of 9.19/10; many achievements in scientific research and active participation in school activities.

In particular, Minh Thien is the founder and director of the project "Enzyme from organic waste". This is a project to convert organic waste into a multi-purpose product that can be used as a household cleaning solution, floor cleaner, furniture polish, insect repellent, organic fertilizer and natural pesticide.

The idea for the project came from Thien's daily observations of the huge amount of organic waste being released into the environment in an extremely wasteful way.

After consulting documents and scientific journals, Thien realized that organic waste can be converted and recycled into a multi-purpose solution.

Soon after, Thien gathered 11 other students from many universities across the country, sharing the same passion, to develop the project together.

Through the project, the members want to send the message that even things considered as waste can become valuable resources. Through this, they hope to contribute to raising awareness about the importance of recycling and encouraging people to apply sustainable solutions in their daily lives.

The project "Enzyme from organic waste" won the ESG Ambassador ASEAN competition for students from ASEAN countries recently held in Thailand.
