On December 11, 2025, Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital organized a training course titled "Improving communication and interpersonal skills, innovating service style and attitude for medical staff towards patient satisfaction." This is an important activity in the training plan, helping staff improve soft skills, enhance work efficiency, and strengthen their connection with patients.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Tran Thien Ly, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital , emphasized : " This is an extremely important activity in the journey of improving the quality of medical services and realizing the motto 'Mother's trust, baby's health' that Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital always strives for. Over the past time , the hospital has continuously innovated and improved in many aspects such as improving service quality, promoting the application of modern professional techniques, and focusing on training the capacity of the medical staff. However, the quality of medical examination and treatment is not only judged by the treatment results but also most clearly demonstrated by how we approach, listen to, and accompany patients. A dedicated service attitude, a professional work style, and kind words can make a huge difference in the experience of patients and their families." This becomes even more important in a hospital environment, where every day is filled with the pressures, emotions, and anxieties of patients.

Particularly in the Obstetrics and Pediatrics department, which is closely associated with the sensitive and emotionally charged stages of mother and child's lives, the communication and interpersonal skills of healthcare professionals play a crucial role. These are not just soft skills, but also elements that demonstrate medical ethics, responsibility, and the heart of those working in the profession.

Throughout the program, the presenters shared many practical skills, common communication scenarios, and tactful handling methods in a healthcare environment. The training took place in the form of direct exchanges and group discussions, helping participants identify limitations, thereby drawing lessons learned, reinforcing their sense of responsibility, medical ethics, and service attitude.
