In 2024, Cao Thang Technical College determined the benchmark scores for majors with a math coefficient of 2. Of which, the automotive engineering technology major leads with 28 points (converted to a 30-point scale, equivalent to 21 points). The auto maintenance and repair major ranks second with 25 points (converted to a 30-point scale, equivalent to 18.75 points).

Compared to last year, this year's benchmark score is somewhat different. In 2023, the lowest benchmark score was 20 points, but this year it dropped to 16 points, falling into two majors: welding (high technology) and computer accounting (business accounting).

Majors such as electrical and electronic engineering technology, information technology, mechanical engineering, computer repair and assembly technology, etc. also decreased by 1-4 points. Meanwhile, the automotive engineering technology industry attracted many students, with the benchmark score increasing by more than 1 point.

"Automotive engineering technology is a "hot" industry, one of the school's key training, and has been in the top position for many years. The welding industry is the complete opposite. Although businesses are constantly "thirsty" for human resources, placing training orders with the school every year, with a starting salary of more than ten million VND, it is still difficult to attract students" - Dr. Kha informed.

Candidates admitted based on high school graduation exam scores must confirm their enrollment and pay first semester tuition fees from July 22 to July 27, either directly at the school or online on the website.

In addition, Cao Thang Technical College announced that it will continue to accept additional admission applications based on graduation exam scores until the quota is met in all majors; admission combinations include A00, A01, D01.
