(GLO)- While coffee prices remain stable, on September 3, pepper prices continued to increase by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the domestic market is trading at 153,000-155,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, pepper today only increased by 1,000 VND/kg in Dak Lak province and Ho Chi Minh City. After the increase, pepper in these localities cost 154,000 VND/kg and 153,000 VND/kg, respectively.

In other key growing areas, pepper prices remained stable compared to yesterday's trading session. In particular, pepper prices in Gia Lai and Dong Nai are currently 152,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong is at 153,000 VND/kg.

In the world market, pepper prices remained stable today. Indonesia's Lampung black pepper price is currently at 7,216 USD/ton; Muntok white pepper price is at 10,028 USD/ton. Brazil's ASTA black pepper price is stable at 6,400 USD/ton.

The price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper is currently at 9,700 USD/ton; the price of ASTA white pepper is 12,900 USD/ton. The price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l is 6,240 USD/ton; 550 gr/l is 6,370 USD/ton; the price of white pepper is 9,150 USD/ton.
