Manage the operations of campsites, tourist motels, houses with rooms for rent to tourists and other accommodation establishments recognized as qualified tourist service establishments located in the area. Manage the operations of accommodation establishments that have not been assessed for star recognition or have expired star rating in the area.
Take the lead in implementing activities to ensure security, order, social safety, environmental safety, food hygiene and safety for tourists, tourist areas, tourist attractions, and places with many tourists in the area.
The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns also have the authority to receive, resolve or coordinate with competent State agencies to resolve recommendations and feedback from tourists in the area.
