* On the morning of January 5, in Dien Chau district, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province coordinated with Nguyen Van To High School to organize a seminar to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2024).

* On the morning of January 5, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Fisheries and the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center inspected a number of aquaculture economic development models in the localities of Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu and Hoang Mai town.

* In order to strengthen food safety in production, processing, trading, and food import during the peak season of the Lunar New Year and the Spring Festival season in 2024, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has issued plans and decisions to inspect the implementation of food safety regulations in the province.

* On January 5, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation coordinated with Thanh Chuong district to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of the Gratitude House to war invalid Nguyen Trong Son in Thanh Lam commune and sponsored 3 billion VND to start the construction of the Thanh Mai Commune Health Station, Thanh Chuong district.

* Early in the morning of January 5, coach Philippe Troussier and his team left for Qatar to participate in the final round of the 2023 Asian Cup. Mr. Troussier said that the whole team will aim to play well in each match. The starting lineup will change depending on who the Vietnamese team's opponent is and the players will always enter the field with the highest spirit, playing for the Vietnamese flag.
