Like the character traits in Starfield, every piece of equipment in the game can also possess traits that can change the outcome of a fight. Publisher Bethesda designed most of Starfield's weapons after learning from the development of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. As Starfield continues to gain widespread support, players are still hoping that publisher Bethesda adds more weapon types in the future as currently, laser and melee weapons are still not comparable to ballistic weapons.
