On July 20th, the Binh Tan District Police, along with various departments of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, investigated the case of a man who died in a garbage storage area of an apartment building in the district.
At around 4 PM that same day, residents of an apartment building on Lo Te Street (Tan Tao A Ward, Binh Tan District) were out exercising. At that time, they discovered a man dead, hanging by his neck, in the building's garbage disposal area. They raised the alarm and notified security.
Upon receiving the report, the police arrived, cordoned off the scene for investigation, conducted an autopsy, and took statements from witnesses.
Residents of the apartment building said that the victim lived in the building and that the building's garbage disposal area was often left open. Prior to this, the victim had gone back to their hometown in the Mekong Delta with relatives, and the incident occurred upon their return to Ho Chi Minh City.
