Vietnam Education Publishing House supports flood-affected schools in Bac Ninh province

On November 4, a working delegation of the Vietnam Education Publishing House (VEP) led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Binh - Deputy General Director visited and presented gifts to schools damaged by floods in Bac Ninh province.

According to information from the provincial education sector, after storms No. 10 and 11, Bac Ninh recorded about 100 schools affected, with total initial estimated damage of more than 20 billion VND.

Responding to the spirit of mutual love, NXBGDVN supported 30 million VND in cash and presented 7,752 textbooks (500 sets) worth nearly 106 million VND to schools in the area. The representative of NXBGDVN said that the gift is the heart and sharing of the staff of NXBGDVN for the students with the hope of helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their studies.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Chi Binh emphasized: "Immediately after receiving information about the damage caused by floods in Bac Ninh , NXBGDVN proactively planned to donate books and provide financial support to students in difficult circumstances, hoping to share some of the losses that the students and the school are facing."
