Picked up nearly 50 million VND, traffic police officer returned it to the person who dropped it in Hanoi

On the evening of October 11, a representative of Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that the unit had returned documents and nearly 50 million VND to the people who lost them.

Previously, on the evening of October 4, while on duty, Senior Lieutenant Bui Kien Quyet (Road Traffic Police Team No. 6) picked up a black bag dropped on Nguyen Co Thach Street (Nam Tu Liem District).

Upon inspection, the police discovered many car papers under the name of Mr. PHN (residing in Hanoi) and nearly 50 million VND in cash.

Lieutenant Bui Kien Quyet tried to contact the police station where Mr. PHN registered his permanent residence to return the lost item.

On October 10, Mr. PHN went to the headquarters of Traffic Police Team No. 6 to complete the procedures to receive back the car documents and nearly 50 million VND.

Talking to the traffic police, Mr. PHN shared that he did not know which route he dropped his bag on. When he learned that the traffic police officer picked up his bag, Mr. N. was very happy. Mr. N. sent his thanks to Senior Lieutenant Bui Kien Quyet and the command of Traffic Police Team No. 6.
