The press conference provided information to the press and people about the event, which the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province have high expectations for, helping to promote the scenic spots and tourist destinations of Binh Dinh through films and sports to domestic and foreign visitors.
The Binh Dinh tourism promotion program will take place from September 2 to 5, with many activities that promise to be exciting and attractive.
That is: Displaying images of the beauty of Vietnam's land and people through film footage, appearing in domestic and international films;
Screening of the film “Promoting and advertising tourism through cinema”; Experiential tourism visits at some martial arts schools, scenic spots, historical and cultural relics in Binh Dinh province;
Martial arts performance; seminar “Tourism, cinema and sports: Building the future – a long journey together”; grand music festival “Wings of miracles”…
According to Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this is the second time the ministry has coordinated with a locality to organize the program "Tourism, cinema and sports - Proud of Vietnamese identity". He said that previously in 2023, the program held in Khanh Hoa brought many positive results for the tourism development of this locality.
This event will have many famous filmmakers, directors, and actors from Korea, France, India, Thailand, and Japan attending, such as: Lee Jong Hyuk, Jeong Hee Tae, Gu Sung Hwan, Dai To Nghi, Le Nac Y...
“This year, the program has been upgraded and become an international event when two delegations from the Ministry of Culture of Laos and Cambodia attended and gave speeches at the conference. And for the first time, many world-famous actors, directors, and film producers will attend the event. The focus of this program will be to promote the image of Binh Dinh martial arts,” said Mr. Dong.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lam Hai Giang – Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee – said that the highlight of this year’s program will be the workshop “Tourism, cinema and sports: Building the future – long journey together”. Here, directors and filmmakers will discuss how to bring the image of the homeland, people and culture of Binh Dinh to domestic and international films.
“This is very important and Binh Dinh will try to leave a good impression in the eyes of directors, filmmakers, actors and people who have influence on the public in the country and the world,” Mr. Giang shared.
