
A formation of five SU-30MK2 fighter jets prepares for the A80 ceremony.
Participating in the parade and march commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the Air Defense - Air Force Command announced that the air force participating in mission A80 used 40 aircraft, including: SU-30MK2; YAK-130; L39-NG; helicopters; and transport aircraft. The units organized training for 78 flight crews, ensuring absolute safety.
According to the plan, the Air Defense - Air Force Command will organize 9 flight formations with 30 aircraft to fly in celebration of A80, including helicopters, C295s, C212irs, Yak-130s, L-39NGs, and Su-30MK2s. They will utilize three airfields for takeoff and landing: Hoa Lac, Gia Lam ( Hanoi ), and Kep (Bac Ninh).
Naval forces, including submarines, missile frigates, missile boats, anti-submarine frigates, various types of coast guard vessels, fisheries patrol vessels, medical ships, border guards, maritime militia, and helicopters, conducted their third joint training exercise, ensuring proper distance, speed, and formation.
The Navy announced that a naval parade will be held in Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of the following forces: the Navy, the Vietnam Coast Guard, the Border Guard, and Military Region 5.
In this effort, the Navy's forces and resources play a core role, with the participation of Kilo 636 submarines, surface vessels, naval air force, and other specialized units.
According to the Navy, this is an opportunity for naval officers and soldiers to demonstrate their spirit of emulation and their aspiration to contribute to the cause of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
Over the past period, the units participating in the parade have developed detailed plans; selected elite forces; organized intensive training for each ship; trained in parade ceremonies at the dock; practiced formation and squadron movements; handled situations at sea, practiced on maps and sand tables, and maneuvered back to the dock.
Currently, all vehicles, weapons, equipment, and supplies used in the parade have been thoroughly inspected and maintained, ensuring they are in the best technical condition and ready to serve in real-world conditions.
The planned performances are not only a fusion of cutting-edge military technology and performing arts, but also an affirmation of the courage, discipline, and unwavering fighting spirit of the armed forces on the occasion of the momentous 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
