On the afternoon of August 25th, at the home of the late author Le Duy Hanh, several artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association gathered to light incense and pay their respects on the first anniversary of his death.
Among those in attendance was People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations , and President of the Vietnam Association of Theatre Artists. During her business trip to the South, she came to light incense in remembrance of an active member who served many terms on the Executive Board and also held the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Theatre Artists.

People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui highly praised the program commemorating the late author Le Duy Hanh organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association (August 4th), saying, "It is a noble gesture towards a playwright who led the Association for 25 years, and was also a talented captain of the theater in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general. Currently, many of his works still reflect the spirit of the times, and at the same time spread great humanistic values to contemporary life."

She said that before coming to Ho Chi Minh City, she attended the premiere of the Cai Luong play "The Night Sun of the Century" by author Le Duy Hanh, directed by People's Artist Hoang Quynh Mai at the Vietnam Cai Luong Theatre. She believes that with more than 60 scripts he left behind, many art organizations, especially young directors, will have plenty of material to continue staging and creating, bringing many new works to the theatrical scene in the style of author Le Duy Hanh's writing.
People's Artist My Uyen - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Theatre - visited author Le Duy Hanh in 2022.
Attending the first anniversary memorial service for him were also artists: People's Artist My Uyen, Meritorious Artist and painter Le Van Dinh, Meritorious Artist Le Nguyen Dat, Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu, director Nguyen Hong Dung, director Ton That Can, director Le My Phuong, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuong - former director of Hoa Binh Theater… Dr. Hoang Thi Hanh, wife of the late author Le Duy Hanh, thanked the artists for always remembering him, which is a great comfort to the family as she and her children have lost a great source of spiritual support in their lives.
She believes that the scripts he left behind, which have just been printed as two anthologies by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports and the Vietnam Association of Stage Artists, will be staged, promoted, and brought to the public as the family wished.
