The competition featured 45 storytelling performances based on children's books, with over 120 participants from primary and secondary schools in the district. The competition presented listeners with many touching stories about love for the homeland and the Vietnamese people, about the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, about the homeland's islands and seas, the tradition of respecting teachers and elders, and the love for grandparents and parents.
The competition organizers presented flowers to encourage the participating contestants.
This is a practical activity organized regularly every year to promote the reading movement among children and teenagers. Through this, it contributes to educating them about patriotic traditions and awareness of the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands; fostering creativity, enhancing knowledge, and providing a beneficial playground for them during the summer. Through this competition, the organizing committee will select outstanding contestants to participate in the provincial-level competition in the near future.
