In his message on the occasion of Vietnam hosting the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime on October 25 and 26, 2025 in Hanoi, President Luong Cuong emphasized: The Convention sets out a legal framework for international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime, ensuring that member countries, especially developing countries and vulnerable countries, are supported and have their capacity to deal with this type of crime improved. The adoption of the Convention against Cybercrime by the United Nations General Assembly (December 2024) and the opening ceremony in Hanoi are vivid proof of the sense of responsibility of countries in protecting cyberspace - the common property of all mankind.
