1. Visiting the production model of Mr. Tran Thanh Chien (born in 1965, residing in Hamlet 2, Tuyen Binh Commune), our first impression of this farmer was his eagerness to learn, dynamism and acumen in developing the family economy .

Mr. Tran Thanh Chien worked hard and became rich on his homeland.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's example from the smallest things, Mr. Chien always develops his family's rice growing area in an environmentally friendly way, while actively seeking to learn experiences, science and technology to apply to production, and enrich his homeland. Mr. Chien shared: "Doing agriculture today, we must constantly learn experiences, apply advanced science and technology to production, bringing higher efficiency."

Currently, Mr. Chien produces 4 hectares of rice for his family and rents more than 20 hectares of land to produce rice, earning an average annual income of 300-400 million VND. He also creates regular jobs for 2-3 local workers with an income of 10-12 million VND/month and 15-20 seasonal workers per crop.

With a stable income from rice cultivation, he has the opportunity to participate in many local social activities, especially the movement to join hands to build new rural areas. With his efforts, for many years, Mr. Chien has been commended for his good achievements in the Association's work and the local farmers' movement, achieving the title of good farmer in production and business at the provincial and communal levels.

Not only that, thanks to his friendliness and enthusiasm in social activities, he is trusted and respected by local people.

Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Duong actively develops family economy

2. Looking at the current life, few people know that the family of Mrs. Pham Thi Thuy Duong (born in 1959, residing in Ta Nu hamlet, Khanh Hung commune) used to be a poor household in the locality. With diligence and hard work, her family improved the alum-contaminated land, producing rice with high economic efficiency.

In addition, she also developed a cow breeding model, from which the family's life gradually improved. Mrs. Duong said: "Family life was very difficult before, the couple had to work for hire to make ends meet. Thanks to hard work and thrift, the family now has more than 2 hectares of land for rice production, combined with cow breeding, earning more than 100 million VND/year."

Not only taking care of family economic development, Ms. Duong is also the active and enthusiastic President of the Ta Nu Hamlet Farmers' Association, mobilizing members and farmers to actively compete in production and business, launching campaigns to clean up village roads and alleys, protect the environment; actively participating in contributing money and donating land to build rural roads...

Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Khanh Hung Commune, Nguyen Van Cuong, commented: "Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Duong is a determined and resilient person who has overcome all circumstances. Despite her old age, she is still enthusiastic in developing the family economy and actively participating in local socio-economic development. In particular, she is also an effective "bridge" for the Party, State, and local authorities in propaganda work, mobilizing members and farmers to actively contribute with the locality in building new rural areas"./.
